OUR CHAPTER
We offer public relation professionals access to growth opportunities through courses, events, awards, accreditation and a vibrant network of local practitioners.
Established in 1979, the Chapter serves Southern Arizona, reaching from Yuma in the west to Sierra Vista and Wilcox in the east. Members include professionals from agencies, education and governmental institutions, nonprofits, corporations, and independent practitioners.
Our Board of Directors govern the Chapter. The members are nominated and elected by Chapter members at an annual meeting and serve a term from January 1 through December 31.
The Southern Arizona Chapter is a member of the PRSA Western District, which has 10 chapters from Hawaii, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona.
Chapter members volunteer their time and in turn find serving on the board to be an enriching, rewarding experience. It is the perfect opportunity to become involved and play a vital role in the Chapter’s future.
