In April, the PRSA Southern Arizona chapter program celebrates “APR Month.” Why? When you put the APR (accreditation in public relations) credential behind your name, you have reached a new professional milestone. It’s an accomplishment worth cheering every year.
During the accreditation process, you learn about the history of public relations, core competencies and the components of great PR planning.
Achieving accreditation helps you sharpen your PR skills, builds confidence and, in some cases, gives validation that you are on the right track.
Join other APRs and learn about industry standards. Improve your knowledge, skills and abilities in the areas of media relations, ethics, management skills and more.
To learn more how you can get started and earn a seat at the upper management table, reach out to the chapter’s APR Chair Sheila Storm at sstorm@PAGregion.com or (520) 405-1181.
Details coming soon for the April program.
