Join us as Michelle Olson, APR of Fingerpaint Marketing in Scottsdale discusses the role accreditation has played in her journey from consultant to agency owner and recognized leader in the PR field. A current member of the PRSA national board, she will also share updates and perspectives from the national organization.
Michelle Olson, APR
With 30+ years in public relations, Olson has experience in strategic communications planning for large companies and nonprofit organizations, national media relations, crisis communications, public involvement, and content marketing for consumer and B2B clients. In 2002, she founded her own firm, which she ran for 13 years until its merger with Fingerpaint, a New York-based integrated marketing agency. She now leads the company’s Scottsdale office, while creating a public relations discipline in its other offices. Michelle has handled several high-profile projects including the Arizona Coyotes Arena opening, the launch of various hotels, restaurants and golf courses in the West, plus two successful lifestyle centers: Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter. In 2003, she was recognized by the Phoenix Chapter of PRSA with the prestigious Percy Award for her lifetime achievements in the public relations industry and has won numerous industry awards for her clients.
