Pete Brown, director of communications at the University of Arizona College of Engineering, will present a case study on the college’s strategy to create, integrate and reuse content in higher education marketing – including measuring outcomes and determining effectiveness.

About the presenter:

During Brown’s 35 years in publishing, he has been a college textbook acquisitions editor, a travel writer, a health informatics magazine editor, an engineering technical writer, an underground zine publisher, a graphic designer and a newspaper prepress manager – not to mention a blacksmith and rock band manager. He has worked in Europe and the U.S., and has been in the business long enough to remember the days of letterpress and copper plate printing. Such a varied background positions him ideally to decipher the work of engineers at one of the nation’s leading research universities.
