Larry Wiget, Ed.D., APR

As a proactive and results-oriented public affairs professional, Larry is a skilled speaker, workshop presenter and author of various publications.  While working for the Anchorage School District, he designed and implemented the district’s legislative program and supervised the district’s public relations department,  before focusing fulltime as the district’s legislative liaison.

As an assistant professor, he taught and designed courses at the University of Montana.  At the start of his career, he taught English at the secondary level.

Larry has been a member of numerous boards at both the local and national level, including serving on the board of the National School Public Relations Association and as a board member of the Alaska chapter of PRSA.

​

 In his third year as treasurer for the Southern Arizona Chapter of PRSA,  Larry’s goal is to continue to serve, to grow and to learn.
