Southern Arizona Public Relations Society Welcomes New Leadership

TUCSON, Ariz.- The Public Relations Society of America is the nation's leading professional organization in service to the communications community. PRSA is the principal advocate for industry excellence and ethical conduct and provides members lifelong learning opportunities and leading-edge resources to enhance professional connections and support them at every stage of their career.

Our Southern Arizona Chapter serves communication, marketing, and engagement professionals throughout the region, providing its members learning opportunities and resources to enhance connections and support them through every phase of their career.

Jessa Turner, Director of Communications for Tech Parks Arizona, has been appointed Chapter President, along with a dynamic group of 12 for its 2022 Board of Directors, which encompasses leaders from the across the industry spectrum representing several key private and public organizations in Southern Arizona.

Turner has been an active member of our Chapter for over 15 years and has served on the board in a variety of roles, including Past President, Ethics Chair, Impact Awards Chair and Secretary. An award-winning practitioner, she has helped to advance Tech Parks Arizona for eighteen years primarily through the promotion of university-based economic development activities. She is a graduate of the Greater Tucson Leadership class of 2013 and is currently serving a three-year term on the GTL board. She is also an active member of the Association of University Research Parks communications special interest group.

Board terms are approximately one year and began at the beginning of January. The new Board of Directors include:
